ESEM

Another interesting component of the SESC is the ESEM (Escola SESC de Ensino Médio — The SESC High School). It is a boarding school for teenagers in high school most of which come from families that work for commerce though not exclusively. Acceptance is based on high grades, high scores on a national test, interviews and financial need.
