The Dutch Foundation for Literature supports writers and translators and promotes Dutch literature abroad.

In 2010 the two largest literature foundations in the Netherlands united to form a single organization, the Dutch Foundation for Literature (Nederlands Letterenfonds)

Stroom Den Haag (an independent foundation founded in 1989) is a centre for art and architecture with a wide range of activities. Starting from the visual arts, architecture, urban planning and design the program focuses on the urban environment.

Fundação Nacional do Índio (FUNAI or Funai) (English: National Foundation of the Indian) is a Brazilian governmental protection agency for Indian interests and their culture. It was originally called the SPI or Indian Protection Service. Its first director was Marshal Cândido Rondon, who created the agency's motto, "Die if necessary, but never kill."

The Fundação Cultural Palmeras is an entity connected to the Ministry of Culture. The FCP formulates and implements public policy that aim at including the afro-Brazilian population in processes of development, departing rom their history and culture.

The Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV) was founded in 1944.

The Mondriaan Foundation encourages the appreciation of visual arts, design and the cultural heritage from the Netherlands. Last year, the Mondriaan Foundation supported 673 projects with a total of 18 million euro. 271 international projects in 49 different countries were supported financially with a total amount of 2.7 million euro.

The Armando Álvares Penteado Foundation (FAAP) is created in 1967, FAAP has the third oldest design career in the country. Graphic design and product design specializations have been added to the Fine Arts Faculty, one of the best recognized in the country, very much a presence in the contemporary arts.

Created in 1975 and tied to the Ministry of Culture, Funarte (National Arts Foundation) is the organ that officially represents Brazilian culture in the country and abroad. Its objective is to stimulate the practice, development and spreading of cultural activities in the scenic, visual and musical arts.

The Fundação Bienal de São Paulo is one of the most important international institutions to foster contemporary art, and its impact on the development of Brazilian visual arts is widely recognized. The Arts Biennial, its most significant accomplishment, not only presents to diverse audiences the output of Brazilian and foreign artists, but also attracts the gaze of the world to our country’s contemporary art.
