The show 'Harvest Time' at Floriade

Mundial Productions and the UCD Network are showing HARVEST TIME, a performing arts production featuring 30 artists from Brazil, Ghana, India and Kenya at the Floriade 2012 world expo that takes place once every 10 years in Venlo, south of The Netherlands.

Six of the artists (dancers) are part of Brazilian NGO IBISS, part of the UCD Network.

From 5 April to 7 October

from Tuesday - Sunday at 15:00hs and 17:00hs

Contemporary Art in Brasil

Journalist en documentairemaker Ernst Daniel Nijboer inventariseert de hedendaagse kunst in Brazilie. Gelijk aan de explosieve groei van de Braziliaanse economie stijgt ook de vraag naar (oudere) werken van hedendaagse - , opkomende - en Braziliaanse kunstenaars uit het verleden. Dit fenomeen zagen we in China, Rusland, Vietnam, en overige BRIC-gerelateerde landen.
