The International Salão do Livro de Tocantins occurs annually in May in the Centro de Eventos de Palmas.

The International Bienal do Livro do Ceará takes place annually in November in the Centro de Convenções do Ceará in Fortaleza.

Each year in April at the Centro de Convenções da Bahia in Salvador.

Organised by the Câmara Mineira do Livro, each year in May, at ExpoMinas.

The Bienal do Livro do Rio is organised by the SNEL (National Union of Book Publishers), and competes with the Bienal do Livro de São Paulo for the leading position as the largest book event in Brazil. The São Paulo market may be bigger but the carioca spectacle, existing since 1983, boasts the presence of the ABL (Brazilian Academy of Letters) and of the bigger Rio publishing houses.

The (international) bienal in São Paulo is an annual event of which its first edition took place in 1970. It is organised by the CBL (Brazilian Chamber of Books), attracts thousands of visitors from the whole of Latin America to view the stands of publishing houses, embassies and institutions. Most of the public attendance is from schools and tourists, but many business contacts take place, as at international book fairs.
