Tropenmuseum Junior is part of the Tropenmuseum. It is a museum especially targeted at 6- to 13-year-olds. Ever since its foundation in 1975, it has made interactive exhibitions for children. Over the years, Tropenmuseum Junior has developed its own museological working method, which serves many of our museum colleagues as an example. Convinced that true understanding comes from active involvement, the museum aims to stimulate children mentally and emotionally by informing them about the world.

The museum is located in the centre of National Park the Hoge Veluwe (www.hogeveluwe.nl). The park consists of 5.500 hecare woodland, heathland, grassy plains and sand drifts, and the natural habitat of deer, mouflons and wild boars. There is a visitor's centre where the Museonder is located, an underground museum about all things living underground.

The Kunsthal Rotterdam stages some 25 exhibitions a year. The Kunsthal presents culture in the widest sense of the word: old art, new art, design, photography - from elitist to popular. The Kunsthal frequently experiments with themes which in many cases provide the first impulse for an exhibition. This approach has resulted in an exciting and varied exhibition repertoire highlighting Impressionism, lingerie, Leonardo da Vinci, Blackfoot Indians, Jewels of the Orient, Pop-art.

The Nacional Museum Policy is a nacional policy for the museum sector.

The Maré Museum is a museum in the community Maré (Rio de Janeiro) which preserves and disseminates the community history.

It houses archives, exhibitions and organises activities related to cultural education and research.

The Goeldi Museum is a research institute linked to the Ministry of Science and Technology. It is located in the city of Pará, Belém, a region in the Brazilian Amazon. Since its founding in 1866, the activities are concentrated in the scientific study of natural and sociocultural systems in the Amazon, as well as the dissemination of knowledge and collections related to the specificity of the region.
